Slow Formations is a knitwear and yarn brand located in Erie, Pennsylvania offering premade and custom knitwear and handspun yarn. With a studio located inside Grounded Printshop, yarn and knitwear can be shopped in person by request.
If interested in custom knitwear or yarn, I would love to collaborate with you to create your dream piece! Please keep in mind the very slow nature of hand knitting and hand spinning and the hours required to make an item. Considerations such as commercial vs handspun yarn and hand knit vs machine knit will influence cost.
Classes or private instruction are available for hand knitting, machine knitting, and spindle or wheel spinning.
